Review „The Nightingale Circus Collection” by Ioana Vișan (Broken People #0.5)

They are all waiting to tell you their story about how they came to the circus and why they stayed.

This is a companion short story collection to Broken People.

My review:  
Since this is only the prequel of the new series written by Ioana Visan I am very excited to read more about it. I got used to find interesting characters in her stories and this time I wasn't disappointed either. At first, I had no idea what this story is about because I wanted to be surprised and it was a good choice to wait. It was so different than all the books that I've read!

The title gives away a little bit about the plot and that's how we know that the action revolves around The Nightingale Circus, but there were things that I didn't see coming. Every chapter talks about another character and how he got to work for the circus. These people are gifted, but also "broken". My favorite is the Golden Lady because I was touched by her dramatic life, but they are all special. The way prosthetics were used to fix them made me want to participate into one of their surgeries to learn more from them. I was amazing! So steampunk! 

You need to read it to find out all the cool new technology that is used!
